We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing email marketing campaigns from start to finish, with the goal of increasing customer engagement and driving sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement email marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing plan
  • Create and design engaging, responsive email templates using HTML and CSS
  • Segment email lists and create targeted campaigns based on customer data and behavior
  • Write compelling copy and subject lines for email campaigns
  • Test and optimize email campaigns for maximum effectiveness
  • Analyze and report on the performance of email campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics and email marketing software
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure email campaigns are integrated with other marketing channels
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in email marketing

In addition the role incumbent should be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns and establish the following goals:

  • Track and report on key metrics: Use email marketing software or tools like Google Analytics to track key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions. This will help you understand how your campaigns are performing and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use A/B testing: Try testing different elements of your emails, such as subject lines, call-to-action buttons, and email content, to see which versions perform the best. This will help you optimize your emails for maximum effectiveness.
  • Engage with your audience: Encourage your audience to interact with your emails by including social media links, surveys, or polls. This will help you understand what your audience is interested in and tailor your campaigns to their needs.
  • Segment your email lists: Divide your email lists into smaller groups based on factors such as location, age, or interests. This will allow you to send targeted and relevant emails that are more likely to be effective.
  • Provide valuable content: Make sure the content of your emails is interesting, informative, and relevant to your audience. This will help you build a loyal following and increase the effectiveness of your campaigns.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in email marketing
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred
