This position will be focused solely on the Hello, It’s Me under the Focus EduSolutions product offerings.

The Marketing Assistant works as part of the marketing team to offer administrative support and fill in on essential tasks for Hello, It’s Me. This position will be responsible for providing support to the Marketing Director on all marketing initiatives across the organization. Their responsibilities include managing social media, research, email campaigns, workflows, marketing support, reporting, tools to measure marketing impact, and more.

Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:

A Marketing Assistant should be able to fulfill various duties and responsibilities. The Marketing Assistant should be able to execute the following:

  • Investigate the performance of the company’s marketing campaigns and strategies by evaluating key performance metrics
  • Conducting market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organization and its target audience
  • Discover new effective marketing and promotional channels, including media platforms to be used to relay product messages to customers
  • Create innovative marketing campaigns
  • Create and schedule advertising campaigns using various marketing channels and techniques
  • Uploading content to email templates and uploading contact lists
  • Keeping the Hello, It’s Me blog up to date by posting approved blogs twice a week using a third-party content writer
  • Managing all blog subscriptions and email campaigns
  • Execute exhaustive efforts across social media platforms to increase engagement of current and new customers
  • Posting daily to all social accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Write, develop, and strategize engaging online content and schedule according to social media strategy
  • Design creatives, write engaging captions, and research relevant hashtags for all posts
  • Create and execute the social media calendar across all relevant platforms
  • Meeting social media goals such as reaching a certain number of followers and activity
  • Researching trends and hashtags
  • Comprise a running list of social media influencers and create messaging to reach out to selected influencers
  • Research Facebook and LinkedIn groups
  • Engage with relevant posts on social media
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends
  • Assist in researching associations and organizations we can reach out to for advertising
  • Research target audience and Facebook attributes

Marketing Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; able to handle multiple tasks, projects, and priorities effectively and professionally
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player, ability to work with teams and collaborate
  • Experience posting and using social media tools
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using HubSpot (not required but a plus)
  • High school diploma or GED and/or bachelor’s in communications, marketing, or related experience
