This program will prepare learners for various job titles including Teacher, Special Education Coordinator, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Student Support Specialist, and Interventionist.

 

 

 

The salary of special educators in the US varies depending on many factors, such as location, type of job, and experience. The median annual wage for special education teachers in the US was $62,780 in 2019. The lowest 10% earned less than $41,630, and the highest 10% earned more than $99,820.

 

This program will equip learners with the following skills:

  • Develop opportunities and assessments that allow choice and flexibility for all learners to express what they have learned.
  • Develop individual student support plans that reflect knowledge of their specific learning needs, their strengths, and documentation of the best ways to support their success in school.
